Welcome to Ardvreckan Bed and Breakfast

Situated in the picturesque fishing village of Avoch in the Black Isle, Ardvreckan, from its elevated position, enjoys stunning views over the inner Moray Firth and provides an excellent base for walking, bird-watching, superb marine life (the Moray Firth dolphins performing well this year.)

We have two rooms, each with en suite facilities. One has a king-size double bed, the other has twin beds. Both are south facing rooms with panoramic views over the inner Moray Firth and to the west. Both rooms have generous hospitality trays.
Hairdryer and luxury toiletries provided also iron, ironing board and trouser press.

Only 15 minutes from Inverness, Avoch is an ideal place to spend a few days or to break your journey before travelling to the far north or to the west (Ullapool is a 50 minute drive and Scrabster is a drive of about 2hrs 50 mins.)

From the harbour in the village, designed by Thomas Telford, enjoy an informative and memorable trip to see the famous Moray Firth Dolphins. The village is also the burial place of Sir Alexander MacKenzie, who discovered the MacKenzie River in Canada. In addition for those interested in history the burial place of James Douglas Fletcher who owned Rosehaugh Estate and did so much for the village augurs well for an interesting walk.
