Travelling only 12 miles from the beautiful city of Inverness, Capital and gateway of the Highlands you drive through stunning scenery packed full of amazing wildlife. This lovely location offers you the choice of a quiet country retreat or a busy activity laden holiday.
Upon reaching Muir of Ord and the homely Vulcan Cottage you will be given a warm Highland welcome by Carol and George who host this thriving business.
The original stone cottage was built more than 100 years ago and offers a range of very comfortable living accommodation and delicious home-cooked food to suit all tastes. Although the cottage has been extended over recent years, much of its character has been retained to provide the accommodation and generous facilities that are on offer today.
