Waters Edge is a beautiful house close to the sea, a small beach at the end of the garden is lapped by the clear waters of the Moray Firth, it is idyllic.... truly a once discovered never forgotten place to stay, all our guest rooms have spectacular views over the sea. The sitting room has a charm all of its own the old brass and copper sparkles round the inglenook fireplace and when the crackling log fire is blazing it is a especially cosy, antique furnishing and posy bowls filled with flowers from the garden make this room the perfect place to while away a little time while staying here with us. French doors lead to a secluded courtyard, with a wildlife pond, apple trees and numerous garden birds, a tranquil relaxing place to enjoy a glass of wine or two on a summer evening. Breakfast is a delicious delight each morning, we us as much organic and local produce as we can find and offer many choices for you to enjoy at the table overlooking the sea. Dolphins and otters are often seen by our guests from the picture window during breakfast and from all the bedrooms and balcony, it is always very exciting when they are spotted swimming in the sea at the bottom of the garden.
Our three double bedrooms all with en suite bathrooms each with a bath and power shower are luxurious and very special....wonderfully comfy beds, fine linen and the fluffiest bathrobes. Each bedroom has a large balcony with truly magnificent breathtaking views over the sea and the hills towards Culloden. To experience seeing ships and boats sailing backwards and forwards in the firth on there way to Inverness harbour is a constant interest. Yachts from the sailing club are whisked along on breezy days and on a starlit night to see the moon shining on the water just completes a truly special scene from your bedroom and balcony.
